Official Nexus One Froyo OTA FRF85B now available!

This topic has been consolidated into a single post, click here for the latest information. Just received the official Nexus One Froyo 2.2 OTA (FRF85B) update. For those of you still waiting here is the latest on the OTA update from the official Google Blog. It upgrades the baseband to 32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.12_7 Kernal Version 2.6.32.9-27227-g3c98b0d android-build@apa26#1. The official update installed without any problem over the previous unofficial builds I had installed before. Will updated this post with any changes from previous builds if any as they are discovered. Update(s) after the break.

It’s official Kindle on Android 1.6+ devices now!

It’s official in addition to the iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, Windows PC and Mac you can now purchase and read your Kindle books on Android 1.6+ devices with an SD Card. Search for “Kindle” in the Android Market from your phone or you can Scan the QR code on the left with your phone’s barcode scanner. More information here.

iOS4 software update available now for the 3G, 3GS!

Apples 4 Easy Steps to Installing iOS4:

  1. Update iTunes to the latest version then connect your iPhone to your computer
  2. Select your iPhone under devices
  3. In the iPhone summary pane click check for update
  4. Click download and install. Do not disconnect your iPhone until the update is finished
