Your Google mail now has a voice!

A new Google Voice feature has been recently integrated into the Gmail web application, enabling users in the US to place calls to any landline or cellphone from within Google Mail. Even though the service is still in the process of being rolled out, callers reportedly completed over a million calls from Gmail on its first day of service, according to a recent Cnet report.

I wanted to share a recent find, an Android camera application by Urbian Inc. called Retro Camera. The app is free to download and is advertising-supported. Since installing the application, I’ve been impressed with the camera effects and just how much fun the program has been to work with.

Sandisk iSSD postage size storage with SSD benefits!

Sandisks answer to the lightweight storage for mobile devices comes in the form of an integrated solid state drive (iSSD). Sandisk claims the drive delivers all the benefits of SSD in a new tiny form factor (16mm x 20mm x1.97mm) roughly the size of a postage stamp. The iSSD will be easy to embed into mobile devices that value smaller designs, quiet operation and lower power consumption.

The iSSD will have an industry standard SATA interface provide between 4GB up to 64GB of storage. Price and availability information have not been released.

Flash 10.1 out of beta, Adobe Air in 4th. Quarter.

Adobe Systems, Inc. flash 10.1 is out of beta and is now available on the Android Market for the Nexus One . Versions for other Android 2.2 devices should be available soon, we will post an update once Adobe makes the announcement.
