Rovio has released their 2nd Beta of Angry Birds Lite for Android version 1.3.5 on the Android Market. The latest release addresses compatibility issues . Reportedly V1.3.5 is capable of running on additional handsets including the HTC EVO 4G. The app is still not showing up in the Android Market for some handsets. Luckily this time Rovio has addressed this situation by making the app available for download on GetJar.
When you click on the Download App link you will be asked for your handset type and your phone number. I couldn’t get the number to work with my Google Voice number however when I entered my regular handset number I received the sms in less than a minute.
If you prefer not to share your number you have the option to download the .apk to your computer and side-load it to your phone. For additional information on Angry Birds please see our post here.
