With the flood of political calls in the run-up to the mid-term elections, along with telemarketers, the National Do Not Call Registry (NDNCR) is bound to come to mind. If you are not familiar with the NDNCR, placement of your number on this list will stop most telemarketing calls. Unfortunately, the registry does not halt surveys, political solicitations or requests from charitable organizations.

A recent tweet from @AndroidDev acknowledged the 100K application milestone for the official Android Marketplace. Congratulations to Google, the dedicated Android devlopers and the enthusiastic Android Army user base this was a great team effort.

There is a new beta version ( build 18.104.22.168) of the Android Dropbox app available for direct download from Dropbox. The Android Marketplace version is stuck at build 22.214.171.124. The beta application adds several requested features and bug fixes. (See added features and direct download links after the break.)

After a couple of iterations as a lite beta version, Rovios’ Angry Birds is available for Android as a free ad-supported download. A future update will include the option to purchase and opt out of the advertisements. (Download link after the break)
