Dead Zebra features artwork and goods designed by artist Andrew Bell. Of note to Android aficionados, DYZPlastic, which is a division of Dead Zebra produces a limited series of custom Andy the Robot Android collectibles designed by various artists. Series 02 photo preview updated 03/09/11. Collectibles are scheduled to go on sale Thursday 03/10/11 at 11:00 PM EST according to Android Community website.
I can’t speak to the quality of the construction because I do not yet own one of the collectibles, but the Series 2 collectibles look awesome. Below is a gallery preview of the custom Android collectibles. I will post a follow up once the collectibles are available and I have received mine. I will address the fit and finish of the collectibles at that time for you.

Which is your favorite? I’m presently torn between Hexcode, GD-927 and Rupture! You can check the Dead Zebra site for additional information.
The Dead Zebra blog shares some information about the artist, which I have Included below:
“Andrew was born in England in 1978. His family moved several times until settling into the eastern US in the mid 1980′s. He has lived and worked in New York since 1996.
Andrew’s work spans a wide spectrum of mediums from illustrations and paintings to toys and sculptures. Much of his work is brought together by a sense of humor that often belies a more serious and sombre message.
His work has been featured in solo and group gallery shows from LA to Paris and has been covered by publications such as The New York Times and Wired.”
