Research In Motion (RIM), the brains behind the BlackBerry, is offering a contest that will shower a few lucky winners with some great prizes. From January 16th-27th, RIM is holding the JanuBerry contest which is a series of questions that will be posted on the @BlackBerry twitter page. To enter to win simply answer the question with the hashtag #JanuBerry, the 10th correct answer will be selected as the winner. EA Sports, the creator of the popular football franchise, Madden 12 has given us a gift to start off the new years right. Madden 12 can now be yours for only 99 cents from the Android Market. Android users with Android 2.1 and up can enjoy this game. Tablet users and Xperia Play users have the pleasure of playing optimized versions of Madden 12. This deal definitely caused us to “Tebow”, thanks to EA.
With smartphones officially ruling the cellphone market it is hard for older aged users and first time cellphone owners to buy a cellphone that is just a phone. Emporia Telecom is looking to ease that burden by introducing the EmporiaCLICK, an easy to use cellphone, straight out of the box. The EmporiaCLICK features large buttons, a basic camera phone, and even an emergency one click call button. This emergency features allows the user to enter in five numbers to a list, once the button is pressed the phone will automatically call each number until someone answers. We almost forgot to mention, the EmporiaCLICK is a flip phone, taking us back to the Motorola RAZR golden days. The EmporiaCLICK will be available this spring for around $100 without a contract.
