If you use your Android phone for navigation you are already familiar with its text-to-speech (TTS) capability. As good as Google Maps is for navigation, I’m not a fan of the robotic sounding voice that is part of the default ‘PICO TTS’ engine.

SVOX a Swiss company that specializes in speech synthesis for navigation systems built into BMW, VW, Chrysler, Ferrari, and many other cars is now bringing its voice solutions and text-to speech (TTS) expertise to the Android platform.
