HZO introduced a new waterproofing technique called ‘WaterBlock’ for electronic devices at CES that applies a micro-thin coating applied by OEMs during the manufacturing process that protects electronics on a molecular level.

Rather than create a waterproof case, HzO opens up the devices and waterproofs the internal components. The device can be completely submerged and even fill up with water and continue to work.

The extended battery is also available for various other models.

The bargain priced Chinese extended battery is available on Ebay for as little $13.89 shipped. I followed the thread with interest for several weeks and after receiving generally positive reviews from users, I relented and ordered one.
